A plugin is a ready-made kit for one kind of work: a few skills, the apps they use with suggested settings, page templates, task recipes, starter prompts and files. Read What are plugins? first if plugins are new to you. The app has the same plugins as the web, for the workspace you have selected, and this page shows where everything is on the phone.
Open your plugins
- On Home, tap the button at the top right. It opens the account menu.
- Tap Customization, then tap the Plugins tab. It is next to Skills and Connectors.
Below the title there is a Yours | Discover toggle, a Search plugins box and a filter button. The + Add button is at the top right of the page.
Find, try and add a plugin
Tap Discover to see the plugins you have not added yet.
- From Bluedeer at the top is one featured plugin, such as Meetings, with Add and Try.
- For you lists plugins picked for you, one card per row. Plugins that work with the apps you connected come first.
- New plugins lists plugins people shared in this workspace. Tap Show all to see every one.
Each card shows who made the plugin and what is inside, for example "3 skills · 5 apps · 2 pages · 1 task". It also has Try and +:
- Tap Try to start a new chat with the plugin's main skill chosen and its first example request. Trying a plugin does not add it.
- Tap + to add the plugin. A sheet opens first. It lists the skills that will be turned on, the plugin's apps with whether each is connected, and its suggested settings with a tick that is on. Tap Add plugin. Adding a plugin signs in to nothing, creates no page and schedules no task. If an app the plugin needs is not connected yet, the plugin's page opens on Apps so you can connect it.
To search, type in Search plugins. To narrow or order the list, tap the filter button. Choose a category, turn on Works with my apps (in Discover) or Made by my team (in a shared workspace), and sort by Popular, Newest or A–Z. Tap Done to apply it, or Reset to go back to the default.
If Bluedeer's automatic check found something in a plugin someone else made, such as a link, the app shows what it found before adding it. Tap Add anyway only if you trust the plugin.
A plugin's page
Tap a card, or a plugin in Yours, to open its page. It shows only the parts the plugin has:
- Try asking: example requests. Tap one to start a chat with it.
- Overview: what the plugin is for.
- Skills: each skill with its "/" command. Once the plugin is added, each skill has its own switch, so you can turn off one skill and keep the rest. Tap Show full instructions to read a skill in full. A skill your workspace made unavailable shows Not available in this workspace.
- Apps: each app shows Connected, or a Connect button that uses your usual sign-in. Needs Pro, Turned off in this workspace or Needs a seat explain why you can't connect it yet; tap them to read more. An app marked Not in Bluedeer's list came from an uploaded plugin: Add as a connector opens the connector form with its address filled in. Under each app are its suggested settings, such as "Ask first before changing calendar events". Tap Use suggested settings to save them in your Connector permissions. They only make Bluedeer ask more.
- Pages: tap Create page to make a live page from the template. It is unavailable, with the reason, until its apps are connected.
- Tasks: tap Set up task to open a new task filled in from the recipe, in your phone's time zone. Change the name or what it does, then tap Save task. Nothing is scheduled until you save it. Scheduled tasks need Pro.
- Files: reference material the plugin's skills can read. Tap a file to read it.
- Saved for later — not used yet: sub-agents from a Claude plugin. Bluedeer doesn't use sub-agents yet; they will work when it does.
Turn plugins on and off
Tap Yours to see the plugins you added or made in this workspace. The line under Yours shows how many plugins you added and how many of your own you made, against your plan's limits.
- Use the switch next to a plugin to turn it on or off. When it is off, its skills leave the "/" list and Bluedeer does not pick them. Its apps, pages and tasks stay as they are.
- Needs setup means an app the plugin needs is not connected yet.
- A lock instead of a switch means the plugin is required by your workspace. It stays on, and Remove from Yours is unavailable.
- Tap ⋯ next to a plugin for more. For Bluedeer's plugins and shared plugins, you can Open it, Make a copy of it, or Remove from Yours. For your own plugins, you can Edit, Duplicate, Share or Delete them.
Removing a plugin removes its skills too, unless you also added a skill on its own. Connected apps, pages and tasks you made from it stay, and your Connector permissions stay as they are.
On the Free plan, plugins are shown but unavailable. Tap one to read Needs a paid plan. Without a seat in a shared workspace, tapping one shows Needs a seat with Request a seat. Read Plugin limits for the limits on each plan.
Use a plugin's skills in a chat
Type / at the start of your message. A plugin's skills are in the list with the plugin's name in grey, for example /meeting-prep · Meetings. Typing the plugin's name, for example /meetings, lists its skills. A reply that used one shows a chip such as Using Meeting prep · Meetings.
Add your own plugin
Tap + Add at the top right of the Plugins tab, then choose one of these:
- Upload plugin file opens the Files app. Pick a .zip or .plugin file, such as a plugin made for Claude.
- Add from a link asks for a public GitHub repository or folder, or the address of a marketplace. If the link is a marketplace, pick one plugin from its list.
Bluedeer reads it and runs nothing. A review screen shows what it keeps (skills, apps, files), what it saves for later and what it leaves out, with the reason for each. You can change a skill's command or turn a skill off to leave it out. If the automatic check found something, the button reads Add anyway. Nothing is saved until you tap Save plugin. Read Upload a Claude plugin for what Bluedeer keeps and leaves out.
To change one of your own plugins, open it and tap Edit to change its name, description, overview and starter prompts, or Upload a newer version to read a new file or link. People who added it keep their version until they accept the update.
Updates
When someone who shared a plugin you added publishes a newer version, the plugin shows Update available. Open it and tap Review update to see which skills were added, removed or changed. Tap Accept update to move to it, or Not now to keep your version. Updates are never applied by themselves.
Plugin rules for owners and admins
In a shared workspace, the owner and admins set the workspace's rules for plugins in the app too:
- Tap the button at the top right of Home, then tap Manage workspace.
- On the General tab, under Skills and plugins, tap Plugins.
Tap a plugin by Bluedeer to choose Not available, Available to add, Added for everyone or Required. These turn the plugin's skills on for each member; they never connect anyone's apps or change anyone's settings, so each member connects the apps and chooses the settings themselves. Plugins people in the workspace shared are listed as Available to add. Who can share skills and plugins is one rule for both. Shares and new versions waiting for approval are listed under Waiting for approval, with Approve and Decline. Read Plugins in shared workspaces for what each rule does.
