Leave or delete a team

How a member leaves a team, and how the owner deletes one.

Both actions are on the team's Settings page, on the General tab.

Leave a team

Anyone except the owner can leave a team.

  1. Open the team's Workspace page, select Settings, and find Leave team.
  2. Select Leave team, then confirm.

You lose access to the team's chats, files and tasks. Your scheduled tasks in the team stop, and your seat is freed. To come back, an admin has to invite you again.

The owner cannot leave. Transfer ownership first. See Transfer team ownership.

Delete a team

Only the owner can delete a team.

  1. Open the team's Workspace page, select Settings, and find Delete team.
  2. Select Delete team, then type the team's address to confirm.
  3. Select Delete team again to finish.

Every member loses access right away, and every seat is cancelled. The team's data stays recoverable for 30 days. To ask for recovery, email support@bluedeer.ai.

Seat packs bought in the App Store or Google Play keep billing until you cancel them in the store. Bluedeer shows you the list after the team is deleted.
