To use a team, you need an active seat. This applies to members, viewers and admins. The team owner does not need a seat.
What you cannot do without a seat
Without a seat, you cannot open the team's chats, files, tasks or projects. This includes items the whole team can see. You also cannot see your own private items in the team.
What you can still do
- Use your Personal workspace. Every account has one, and it does not depend on the team.
- Ask the team owner to assign you a seat. If you were removed from the team, ask an admin or the owner to invite you again.
Why you might not have a seat
- The owner has not assigned a seat to you yet.
- The owner has unassigned your seat, or moved it to another member. When this happens, your scheduled tasks and pending actions in the team stop.
If you were removed from the team, items you created stay in the team for its other members.
For what each role can do once you have a seat, see Roles in a team.
