How do I start a new chat?

Start a new chat with the New chat button in the sidebar, then type your message in the box at the bottom of the screen.

These steps are for the web app.

Start a chat

Click New chat in the sidebar.
Type your message in the box that reads Message Bluedeer....
Press Enter to send. To start a new line without sending, press Shift+Enter. You can also click Send Message.

While Bluedeer is answering, the send button changes to Stop generation. Click it to stop the answer.

Bluedeer gives a new chat a title based on your first message. You can change the title later. See How do I rename, pin or delete a chat?

Choose a thinking mode at the bottom of the message box.
Add files, a voice message or an @ mention. See How do I add files, voice messages or @ mentions to a message?
If you do not want the chat kept in your history, start a temporary chat.
