Some actions change things outside Bluedeer or cannot be undone, such as sending an email or deleting a file. Before these run, Bluedeer can pause and show an approval card in the chat. Access checks and the permissions of the other service always still apply.
Approval cards
The buttons on the card depend on the action:
- For an email, Send email, Save draft or Schedule email.
- For other actions, Confirm & Execute to allow it, or Cancel to stop it.
- For a connector tool, Always allow lets that tool run without asking again, and Trust followed by the connector's name lets every tool from that connector run without asking. Choosing either one also approves the action now.
After you decide, the card shows Action Approved, Action Declined or Action Cancelled. The card remembers your choice if you open the chat again later.
Choose when Bluedeer asks
- Open Settings and choose the AI & Chat tab.
- Find Action confirmations.
- Under All unsafe actions, choose Always ask or Don't ask. Changing this setting clears the rules for individual tools.
Tools that have their own rule are listed below it. For each one, choose Use default, Always ask or Don't ask.
With Don't ask, Bluedeer runs the action without showing a card.
Scheduled tasks
A connector tool that is set to ask first does not run in a scheduled task, because nobody is there to approve it. See How do I schedule a task?
