Gmail and Google Calendar are available on every plan, including Free. Connect them from a card in chat the first time the assistant needs them. Read How do I connect a service from a card in chat?.
Gmail
The assistant can:
- Search your mail, and read messages and whole threads.
- Save an attachment to your files. On the web, the file appears in the File manager. On the phone, it appears in Files.
- Compose a new email, a reply, a reply to all, or a forward.
- List, read, edit, send or delete your drafts.
- Archive, trash, restore, mark as read or unread, star, label or move a message.
- List, create, rename and delete your labels.
Sending an email, saving a draft, scheduling one, and any change to a message, draft or label ask you first. Reading mail does not.
Google Calendar
The assistant can:
- List events, read one event, and check your availability across calendars.
- Create, change and delete events.
Changes to events run as soon as the assistant makes them. There is no approval card for them, and no setting makes them ask first. To see which other actions ask first, read How do I approve, allow or stop an action from a connector?.
