How do I add a chat to a project and pin it there?

Add a chat to a project from its menu, pin it inside the project so it stands out, or remove it from the project again.

These steps are for the web app. Read What is a project? first if you have not used projects before.

Add a chat to a project

  1. Click the more actions button (three dots) on the chat's row in the sidebar.
  2. Click Move to project.
  3. Choose the project, then click Add to project. If the chat is already in a project, the button reads Move to project.

You can also click New chat on a project's page. That chat starts inside the project.

Pin a chat inside a project

  1. Open the project and go to the Chats tab.
  2. Click the more actions button for the chat, then choose Pin in project.

A pinned chat shows the label Pinned in this project. Choose Unpin in project to remove the pin.

Everyone who can see the project sees the pin. The author of the chat, or a team admin or owner, can change it.

Remove a chat from a project

Choose Remove from project from the chat's menu. The chat is not deleted, and it keeps the visibility it has.
