# Delete your account and data

How to delete your Bluedeer account, what is deleted, and the 30-day period before the deletion is final.

You can delete your account in the Bluedeer app, in the web app, or by email.

## Delete on the web

1. Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, then select **Settings**.
2. Open the **Account** tab and find **Delete account**. Select **Delete account…**.
3. Type your account email address to confirm.
4. Select **Delete account**.

## Delete in the phone app

Open **Settings**, then select **Delete Account** under **Account actions**. Type your account email address to confirm.

You can also email support@bluedeer.ai from the address registered with your account, and Bluedeer will make the request for you.

## What happens after you request it

- You are signed out on every device right away.
- Push notifications stop, and your scheduled tasks are paused.
- Your account is deleted 30 days after the request. Signing in again before then cancels the deletion. Tasks paused by the request stay paused until you resume them.

After the 30 days, Bluedeer deletes your account information, your Personal workspace and its conversations, files, memories, tasks and connected integrations. Content you shared in a team stays in the team for its other members. Backups and logs can keep residual copies for a limited time before they are overwritten.

## Before you delete

- If you own a team, transfer ownership or delete the team first. Bluedeer will not let you delete your account while you own one.
- A web subscription stops renewing at the end of its current billing period when you request deletion.
- Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in that store. See [Manage or cancel your subscription](https://support.bluedeer.ai/plans-and-billing/subscriptions/manage-or-cancel-your-subscription.md).
