# What is a project?

A project groups the chats, files, tasks and memory for one piece of work, and projects are available on the web app.

A project is a place to keep everything about one piece of work together. Projects are available on the web app only. The phone does not have them yet.

## What a project holds

A project page has four tabs:

- **Chats**: the chats in the project. Start one with **New chat** on the project page, or add an existing chat from its menu in the sidebar.
- **Files**: a File manager for the project. Files you upload here belong to the project.
- **Tasks**: scheduled tasks created from the project's chats. Add an existing task from its page in Tasks.
- **Memory**: the memories saved for this project. See [What does Bluedeer remember?](https://support.bluedeer.ai/bluedeer/projects-and-memory/what-bluedeer-remembers.md)

## Which integrations a project can use

Open the project and click **Settings**. Under **Integrations**, choose either **All of the workspace’s integrations** or **Only the ones I choose**. The chats and tasks in the project can then use only the integrations you chose. An integration that is turned off for the whole workspace has no effect, and the list says "Off in this workspace".

## Create a project

Click **Projects** in the sidebar, then **New project**. Read [Who can see a project?](https://support.bluedeer.ai/bluedeer/projects-and-memory/project-visibility.md) before you choose its visibility.
