# Plugins in shared workspaces

Owners and admins set a rule for each Bluedeer plugin and approve the plugins members share. Each member still connects their own apps and chooses their own settings.

## Rules for Bluedeer's plugins

Owners and admins choose a rule for each Bluedeer plugin in **Workspace** → **Settings** → **Skills and plugins**:

- **Not available.** Hidden from everyone in the workspace.
- **Available to add.** The default. Each person adds it if they want it.
- **Added for everyone.** Its skills are on for everyone, and each person can turn it off.
- **Required.** Its skills are on for everyone, and nobody can turn it off. It shows a lock in Yours, and **Remove from Yours** is disabled.

Added for everyone and Required only turn the plugin's skills on. They never connect anyone's apps, apply anyone's suggested settings, create pages or schedule tasks. Each member sees **Needs setup** and does those themselves, so every app still asks each person the first time it changes something.

## Plugins teammates share

A plugin a member shares with everyone is simply **Available to add** for others. Owners and admins can't make it Added for everyone or Required.

Under **Sharing skills and plugins**, owners and admins choose one rule for both:

- **Anyone can share.** A member's plugin is shared as soon as they share it.
- **Admins approve first.** A member's share, and each new version of a shared plugin, waits under **Plugins waiting for approval** until an owner or admin selects **Approve** or **Decline**. Open a plugin to read all of it first.

## Stricter rules win

- If a skill is **Not available** in the workspace, it stays unavailable inside any plugin. The plugin's page says **Not available in this workspace** for it.
- If an app is turned off in the workspace, the plugin can't turn it on. Its page says **Turned off in this workspace**.

## Without a seat

A member without a seat can look through plugins, but adding, trying and changing them is disabled, with a note that says a seat is needed.
