# How do I upload and preview files in the File manager?

Open the File manager, upload files into a folder, then click a file's name to preview it or download it.

The File manager keeps the files you upload or that Bluedeer saves for you. These steps are for the web app. On the phone, your files are in the **Files** tab.

## Upload a file

1. Click **File manager** in the sidebar.
2. Open the folder you want to upload into. Uploads go into the folder you are looking at.
3. Click **Upload** and choose your files, or drag them into the page.

The **Uploads** panel shows each file while it uploads. To stop one, click its cancel button. To hide a finished upload from the panel, click its dismiss button.

## Preview a file

Click the file's name, or choose **Open** from the file's more actions menu. The preview opens in a window. Click **Close preview** to go back.

## Download a file

Click the **Download** button on the file's row, or choose **Download** from its menu. To download several files together, select them and click **Download** in the bar that appears above the list.
