# How do I connect Apple or Google to my account?

Connect Apple or Google to a Bluedeer account you already have, so that sign-in also works with it, and disconnect either one in Settings. Your password keeps working.

If you already have a Bluedeer account, you can connect Apple or Google to it. After that, signing in with that Apple or Google account opens the same account. Connecting does not replace your password, and you can disconnect either one at any time.

## Connect Apple or Google

On the web app, start from the sign-in page, and use the email address of your Bluedeer account.

1. Click **Continue with Apple** or **Continue with Google**, and finish signing in with Apple or Google.
2. Bluedeer asks **This email already has a Bluedeer account. Connect Apple to it?** (or Google), and shows the email address. Click **Connect**. To change nothing, click **No thanks**.
3. The sign-in page now says **Sign in to your Bluedeer account (your email address) to connect Apple** (or Google). Sign in to that account the way you normally do. If two-factor authentication is on, enter the 6-digit code too. Sign in after you click **Connect**, not before.
4. When sign-in finishes, Bluedeer shows **Apple connected**, and says that next time Apple signs you in to this account. Click **OK**.

The offer lasts 15 minutes. If you wait longer, it runs out, so click **Continue with Apple** or **Continue with Google** again. To stop while you are waiting, click **Don't connect** on the sign-in page. If the connection fails, Bluedeer shows **Apple not connected** with the reason.

In the Bluedeer app, tap **Continue with Apple** or **Continue with Google**. When the app asks **Connect Apple to it?**, tap **Connect**. It then asks you to sign in to your Bluedeer account, with the email address, before Apple or Google is connected.

## See and disconnect Apple or Google

On the web app, go to **Settings**, choose the **Account** tab, and find **Sign in with Apple** and **Sign in with Google** under **Security & Authentication**. Each one shows **Connected** or **Not connected**.

1. Click **Disconnect** on the row you want.
2. In the confirmation, click **Disconnect**. Apple (or Google) will no longer sign you in. Your password keeps working. Click **Keep** to leave it connected.

In the Bluedeer app, go to **Settings** > **Profile & plan**, then tap **Sign in with Apple or Google**. Tap **Disconnect Apple** or **Disconnect Google**.

To connect it again, follow the steps above.
